I’m a freelance designer with a serious addiction to club soda, label makers and all things chocolate. I initially began designing websites back in 2003. I needed a website and was looking for something professional and user-friendly. After a bit of research, I decided that my best option would be to create my own site. So I installed a simple design program, then studied hard to learn coding and all that other nerdy stuff.
When the process was complete, I realized I had stumbled upon something that I genuinely enjoyed doing. I began designing for family, friends, local clubs and small businesses. A few people termed me ‘One Creative Chick’ — which eventually became the inspiration for my own website.
Although my company is small (yep, just me) I’m able to give each person and their project the attention it deserves. Over the years I’ve worked with some wonderful clients, including several non-profit organizations, professional chefs, real estate agents, stay-at-home moms, general contractors, a rock journalist and many others who were looking for something custom, creative and affordable.
When I’m not designing I like to cook, travel, organize and spend time with my ‘geeky’ husband.
